Our centrally located student hostel, Stansfield Residence One (SR1) is ideally suited for international students studying in Singapore. A comfortable facility that can accommodate up to 400 students in 161 rooms, SR1 also boats a mini-mart, cafeteria, basketball court, internet hub, as well as gym and table tennis facilities plus student’s lounges with pool tables. Stansfield completed a $2million dollar renovation in 2008 to ensure that our facilities are top-notch.  

1. 2 laundry rooms for all current residents self-services
2. A mini-mart selling snacks and drink, personal amnesties opening from 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat
3. A cafeteria for hundreds of residents together provide 3 meals a day, start from 7:30am to 8:30pm.
4. 2 students’ lounges with TV, internet surfing (WIFI), and Pool Table.
5. 1 standard basketball court and football field.
6. 1 multi-purpose hall inclusive of 2 standard badminton courts and 2 table tennis and gyms facilities,
7. A lecture room that can accommodate up to 50 residents with projector
8. 24 hours security services
9. 5 minutes walk to Bartley MRT station (to be opened by end May’09) and bus stop, there are many buses pass by this area. Bus no. 158, 51, 62, 80, 70, 42, 158, 93, 28, 24, 22, 30, 36, 58 etc.

4 Sharing Room		 4 sharing bedroom. Each gets own bed, mattress, pillow, bed sheet, blanket, wardrobe, safe & study table. Economy 4 sharing rooms have 2 toilets & bathrooms (with water heater) shared by 3 bedrooms. Each room has 1 air-con and 1 fan also.

3 Sharing Room		 3 sharing bedroom. Each gets own bed, mattress, pillow, bed sheet, blanket, wardrobe, safe & study table. Economy 3 sharing rooms have a toilets & bathrooms (with water heater) shared by 3 bedrooms. Each room has 1 air-con and 1 fan also.
Deluxe Suite
2 Sharing Room		 2 sharing bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (with water heater) & toilets with an adjoining bedroom. Each gets own bed, mattress, pillow, bed sheet, blanket, wardrobe, safe & study table. Each room has 1 air-con and 1 fan also.
Executive
Single Room		 A single room with an attached bathroom (with water heater), queen sized bed and bed sheet, pillow, blanket, wardrobe, safe & study table, 1 air-con and 1 fan also.

  2. Upfront room rental payment is required for 3 - 12 month bookings.
  3. Please note that water and electricity tariffs are charged separately by meter reading taken weekly.
  4. Please note that a damage deposit of $400 is applicable upon check-in. Refund of the damage deposit will be given after proper handover and clearance of the room including keycards etc. Damage / loss / replacement cost of property belonging to the hostel will be charged and deducted against the deposit if any.

Residents on 6 months room rental or up to 12 months upfront room rental.

(special discount of $30 / month)

  1. The above rates are subject to 7% GST
  2. Payment for monthly meal passes is to be made by the 25th of the preceeding month.
  3. Please note that daily meal passes at $5 (2 meals: breakfast & lunch or breakfast & dinner) or $10 (3 meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner) can be purchased.
